No Entry for Voluntary Staff: CMO Bandipora Issues Stern Warning

Bandipora, August 8: The Chief Medical Officer of Bandipora has ordered an immediate ban on voluntary workers inside all health institutions of District Bandipora, warning that strict disciplinary action will be taken against any section violating the directive.
In an order (No. CMOB/EST/2025-26-1418-22) issued on August 9, 2025, by Chief Medical Officer Bandipora Dr Ishtiyak Ahmad, the administration clarified that no voluntary worker has ever been authorised to operate in any health institution.
All DDO'S including BMO'S, Medical Superintendent have been instructed not to allow any voluntary worker to perform duties in their institutions.
The order has come after reports about the deployment of Voluntary staff and Nursing students for duties during nights and holidays in different health institutions.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The order further stated that if any voluntary worker is found present or engaged in work, the DDO in charge will be held responsible and face strict disciplinary measures. “In case of any mishap involving such unauthorised persons, accountability will rest solely with the DDO,” he added.
“This order is to be complied with in letter and spirit, with immediate effect,” the communication reads.
Officials said the move aims to ensure discipline, patient safety, and prevent unregulated interventions within the health institutions.
