‎Fayaz Mir says ministers visiting his constituency without informing him affecting his work; warns he cannot be held responsible for any untoward incident

‎Srinagar, Sep 30 (KNS): MLA Kupwara Fayaz Mir on Wednesday objected to ministers visiting his constituency without informing him, saying the practice was affecting his work as the elected representative of the area.
‎
‎Speaking in the Legislative Assembly, the MLA said ministers visiting Kupwara should inform him about their programmes in the constituency.
‎
‎“I am the CM of my own constituency,” he said.

‎The MLA also said that he should not be held responsible if any untoward incident takes place during such visits, as he was not being informed about the programmes in advance.
‎
‎“If anything untoward happens in my constituency, I will not be responsible,” he said.
‎
‎He said ministers should maintain coordination with the local MLA whenever they visit a constituency, particularly when official programmes are being held.(KNS)
