Delivers Friday sermon at Delhi Jama Majid

Srinagar, July 14 (KNS): Secretary General Muslim World League  Dr Mohammad bin Abdulkarim al Issa on Friday said that there is no place for extremism in Islam. He made the comments while delivering sermon at Jama Masjid Delhi on Friday. 

Issa, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said that Islam doesn't like double-speak and Muslims need to be truthful.

He said that Islam gives great importance to good character and Muslims must be kind to everyone, while Islam has no place for extremism.

"We need to take care of our neighbors. Islam teaches respect for entire humanity and believes in protecting the humanity. Islamic message respects geography, context and diversity," he said. 

He said thar a true believer walks on the straight path and must be kind hearted. "People who pursue the path of violence shall be defeated."

Earlier, he was welcomed by Syed Imam Ahmed Bukhari at Jama Masjid Delhi. (KNS)
