Srinagar February 06:(KNS)  Former Union minister and Congress leader Saifuddin Soz on Sunday expressed shock over the demsie of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

 

Soz said, I feel deeply sad on the demise of India's Legandry Singer Lata Mangeshkar.It is a shock beyond expression.

 

Lata Mangeshkar's demise is nothing short of a National Tragedy. She was not only treated as a legend for India but  for the entire Sub_continent. I have imagined many times that the way Lata ji sang and controlled the tune was unique to her!

 

One thing more was unique to her and it  was that she was as much popular in Pakistan and Bangla Desh as in India." She will be alive in the hearts and minds of Ihe people in the sun_ continent as long as her immortal  songs remain with the people."(KNS)
