Srinagar, Nov 24 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government will likely announce the winter vacations dates for all schools of Kashmir division and winter zones of Kashmir region from December 05.
An official said the winter vacations for all government and recognized private schools of Kashmir division shall likely start from December 05 onwards (for classes upto 8th) and third week of December (for 9th -12th classes).
He said that the decision was taken after a meeting was held in which different schedules were discussed including the winter vacations for the Kashmir division.
Earlier, the DESK had said that the winter vacation call will be taken only after the weather turns unfavourable or tempature slips into minus. “If weather conditions permit and temperatures don’t go below zero, we will keep the school open till December end,” it had said.(KNS)
