SrinagarJan, 24 (KNS) :National Conference Member Parliment Justice Hasnain Masoodi on Sunday termed the recent transfers in civil administration as an attempt to disempower people of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that he will formally write a letter to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha for appropriate action.

Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) : Justice Masoodi said, "the recent transfers ordered in civil administration have brought non locals in places of locals and consequently the take over of the district administrations by non locals would infringe upon the right of accessibility of the people to government at all levels ". 

Saying that non local officers are not acquainted with the local environment, terrain, difficulties and issues concerning law& order, development and governance the NC MP said he will formally take up the matter with the government at the highest level and would even write to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha not only for his attention but for appropriate action for localising both the civil and police administration at the earliest.
