Srinagar, Nov 07 (KNS): J&K Wakf Board chairperson, Dr Darkhshan Andrabi Monday said that the board will issue white paper on 75 years of encroachment in coming 8 to 9 months.

“Will issue white paper on 75 years of encroachment in Wakf. It will take 8 to 9 months. Everything will be brought to public son”, Dr Andrabi said.

She was speaking to reporters during her visit to revered shrine Dastageer Sahib in Khanyar area in Srinagar.

The Wakf Chairperson said people have shown their grave concern over irregularities happened in Wakf during past years. “It is the demand of people to bring the facts to fore. The white paper will be issued soon and it will take 8 to 9 months”, she said.

She added Wakf is working without coming under any political influence.

To a query, the Wakf Chairperson said the cancer hospital will come up soon in Srinagar and it will be built on Wakf land. “Cancer hospital will be built soon on Wakf land, InshaAllah but it will take some time”, she added.

“You will be informed once any development in this regard happens”, she added and continued, “We are currently busy with other projects”.(KNS)
