Handwara,Nov 30 (KNS): District Development council (DDC) independent Candidate Shahnawaz Mir who is contesting election on Qaziabad Territorial seat on Monday holds a press conference here and appealed people to vote and support him in DDC election.

Talking to reporters here he said his aim to contest this election is purely for development and said the area has been neglected by the political regime since decades.

Mir said the areas is facing problems like water shortage, electricity prbolem,several others issues from last 70 yaers and none of the politician has redressed the problem of common people sofar.

He appealed the people of the area to cast their votes in his favor to end the hardships they are facing and promised them he will redress their issues at the earliest after winning the election.(KNS)
