Jammu, June 01 (KNS) : Apni party leader Vikram Malhotra from Jammu on Wednesday announced his resignation from organisational position and membership from the Party through a letter. 
 
In a letter sent to Apni Party president Syed Altaf Bukhari, Malhotra has written, “Bukhari Sahab, I am feeling deeply pained and dismayed to say that most of us are now tired of this. I am not able to figure out any coherent and workable policy and programme of the Apni Party”.
 
As per the resignation letter by Vikram Malhotra which mentioned, “As our beloved state witnessed some unprecedented developments, over two years ago I accepted your invitation to join as a founder member the Apni Party under your leadership. You have been kind enough to offer me a position in the party”.
 
The letter also mention, “Across the time since March 2020, I have tried my best to contribute to the organisational growth along with serving people. You would appreciate the fact that I have been among a few members of the party have remained dedicatedly engaged in organisational and grassroots work in almost daily basis”.
 
Meanwhile party insiders told news agency Kashmir News Service—KNS that party had called core group meeting today for which he was not invited as party had indications that he was parting ways from the party.
 
“He was already away from the most of the party affairs from last two months, while the senior party leadership had indications that he is parting his ways from the party that is why he was not invited for today’s core group meeting”, said a party insider.
 
“For over two years, we counted the ill and bad of other parties to convince people that we are the political party of future.  I am feeling deeply pained and dismayed to say that most of us are now tired of this. I am not able to figure out any coherent and workable policy and programme of the Apni Party,” the letter, according to news agency—Kashmir News Service (KNS), reads.
