Rafiabad July 17 (KNS): Sr Vice President Peoples Conference and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil expressed concern over sudden heavy rainfall and incidents of cloud burst in several villages of Rafiabad area on Thursday which caused heavy damage to few houses besides causing heavy damage to standing crops including apple blossom in the area.
The cloudburst triggered flash floods in the villages which include Bakhipora, Batapora, Dalree and Harduchanam Rafiabad and gushing water entered several houses causing them heavy damage.
Vakil urged the UT government to go for immediate assessment of damages caused due to this heavy rain and cloudburst and disburse financial relief to the affected families without any delay.(KNS)
