Jammu, Jan 24 (KNS): Actress Urmila Matondkar on Tuesday joined Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said she joined the Yatra in Nagrota area of Jammu and walked with Gandhi.
The Congress Party also shared pictures of Urmila Matondkar joining Rahul Gandhi on the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Earlier, Urmila posted a video message on her Twitter explaining her decision to join the Yatra, stating that it was about "Indian-ness" and promoting love, affection, camaraderie, and goodwill.
Rahul Gandhi led Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Jammu yesterday and is scheduled to reach Udhampur today evening.
The Yatra will culminate at Srinagar where Rahul Gandhi will unfurl tricolour on January 30. The Congress has also invited 22 opposition parties to join the culmination ceremony in Srinagar. (KNS)
