Upsurge in Covid-19 cases across J&K alarming: JKPM

Srinagar, Jan 15 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement Adl. General Secretary and media incharge Javid Ahmed expresses serious concerns over continuous and alarming upsurge in Covid19 cases across Jammu and Kashmir.

Javid Ahmad Requests to people across J&K to follow proper CAB and guidelines already issued by Health department and wear masks on public places and don't force administration to enforce lockdown like restrictions, people should behave responsibly with health workers in this regard otherwise Covid19 will spread like fire and it will be disastrous.

Javid Ahmad further said Government should designate special covid hospitals to treat covid19 patients and also should take care of non Covid patients as there are some patients suffering from various diseases they need complete follow up and health department should not ignore them.

Javid Ahmad urged health department as well as administration to provide all required equipments like well equipped ventilator, oxygen cylinders and direct oxygen supplies for the Covid patients and also provide protective care to its health workers to tackle the alarming situation as upsurge in covid19 cases across J&K.
