Anantnag, Dec 13 (KNS): Former chief minister, Omar Abdullah Tuesday said the upcoming election in J&K will not be fought on issues related to roads, electricity and water, but it will be fought on issues that were popped up after August 05, 2019.
According to KNS, correspondent he said that "the next elections in J&K will be fought on different way. It will not be fought on issues related to roads, electricity and water. It will be fought on issues that were popped up after August 05, 2019.", former chief minister Omar Abdullah said while addressing party workers at Auditorium Hall in Dooru Anantnag.
To a query, he replied that NC president & sittng parliamentarian Dr Farooq Abdullah will welcome Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Lakhanpur to take Bharat Jodo Yatra into J&K.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"Dr Farooq saheb will welcome Rahul Gandhi at Lakhanpur to join Bharat Jodo Yatra into Jammu and Kashmir", he said.
He added that whatever People's Conference alleged on NC will be replied at an appropriate time.
He also added that friends can be changed but neighbors cannot. "Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee had said friends can be changed but neighbors cannot. So there is a need to establish viable atmosphere with our neighboring nations - Pakistan and China - to ensure peace in the subcontinent", he added.(KNS)
