Rajouri, Dec 10(KNS): Two shops were damaged in a midnight fire in the Kheora area of Rajouri district, officials said on Wednesday.

They said the fire broke out in one shop during the night and soon spread to an adjoining shop. Fire tenders, police personnel and local residents reached the spot and launched firefighting efforts.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Both structures were damaged before the flames were brought under control, officials added.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings, they said.(KNS)
