Jammu, Sep 29 (KNS): Two separate blasts have been reported in the Udhampur district of Jammu region, officials said here on Thursday. 


An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that two persons were injured when a mysterious blast took place in a parked bus in Udhampur district on Wednesday night. 

He said that another blast took place in a parked bus at the old bus stand in Udhampur early Thursday morning at 6 a.m. "No injuries have been reported in the incident so far," the official said. 

He added. that the police has started an investigation while two to three buses have suffered damage in the blasts. "The nature of explosives and other things are under investigation. It needs a detailed probe," he said.

ADGP Jammu Zone Mukesh Singh told reporters that an explosion took  place in a parked bus at around 10:30PM last night near a petrol Pump at domail Chowk, Udhampur in which two people sustained minor injuries.
"Another similar blast took place in another bus parked in old bus stand Udhampur at 6:00 am today wherein no casualty has been reported. *Matter is being investigated," he said.

DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range Suliaman Choudhary who visited the blast sites told reporters that "First blast happened last night around 10.30 pm in a bus that was parked near a petrol pump. Similarly, another blast happened on a bus at Udhampur bus stand. No injury in 2nd blast. Two got injured in the 1st blast & are out of danger. Probe on"(KNS)
