Anantnag, 07 April (KNS) :Anantnag police arrested two persons with huge consignment of drugs from home garden in bijbehara area of South Kashmir's Anantnag. 

Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Two persons held With 15 codeine bottles during a naka established at Tulkhan crossing. 

Added that in this case FIR 64/21 was regd. under relevant sections and upon questioning the duo revealed that they have bought this from the house of 
Gh hassan dar a resident of Tulkhan and Upon this the sub division team rushed to the location and searched thoroughly the entire place and in the kitchen garden they unearthed 1500 bottles of codeine.

The stock was dumped in a pit around 7' deep. Whole team worked hard to unearth this and further investigation in this regard is underway.

Meanwhile SSP Anantnag while talking to KNS, he said the people of the area should cooperate and extend full support in curbing drug menace in the district, (KNS)
