Srinagar, Dec 9 (KNS): Two militants were killed in a gunfight between security forces and militants in Tiken Village of Pulwama.

An police official Informed KNS that a joint team of Police, army’s 55 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area in the wee hours of Wednesday.

He added militants fired on the joint team of forces when they approached towards the suspected spot, which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
