Srinagar, Mar 10 (KNS): Inspector general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar on Thursday said that the security forces took all precautions to ensure that no damage is done to mosque as two militants were holed in a structure besides the mosque.
He said that two militants were holed up in a structure separate from the mosque, while one militant has been killed and operation was going on.
He said that they have taken every precaution to ensure that no damage happens to the mosque.
"Two militants were holed up in a structure separate from the mosque. We have taken every precaution to ensure that no damage happens to the mosque. One militant has been neutralized. Operation in progress," he said. (KNS)
