Budgam August 30 (KNS): Chairman District Development Council Budgam Nazir Ahmad Khan today inaugurated two JJM projects worth 12.96 crores at Ohangam Beerwah & Chetru Khanshahib. At Ohangam, JJM project has the provision of 0.10 MGD plant and 0.45 lakh gallon (SR) while as at Chetru Khanshahib a mega water supply scheme is getting constructed on 9.5 crores under JJM.
Speaking on the occasion Chairman DDC Budgam said, "These projects being undertaken under JJM have the potential to eradicate the long-pending water issues in the area. I am hopeful that execution will be completed in a time bound manner."
Senior officers of the Jal Shakti Department including AEE Jal Shakti Sub Division Beerwah Irfan Ahmad, PRI members and other senior citizens were also present.(KNS)
