Sopore, Feb 02 (KNS) A truck driver was injured after he being electrocuted in Tarzoo area of Sopore in Baramulla district on Wednesday evening.

Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that a 45-year-old truck driver was electrocuted when he accidentally came in contact with a transmission line in Tarzoo area. 

They said that the timely action by locals saved the life of the driver and he was shifted to a nearby hospital. 

Meanwhile, an official while confirming the incident said that the condition of the injured was stable and identified him as Ranjit Kumar son of Narsing Lal of Kathua. (KNS)
