Srinagar, Nov 01(KNS): On the occasion of Rasm-e-Qul of Muhammad Maqbool Shah, affectionately called Magga Chacha's, personalities and people from all walks of life visited his residence and paid tribute to him for his philanthropy, friendliness, loyalty and selfless devotion to the Mirwaiz family.
Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir while paying tribute to Magga Chacha described his loyalty and perseverance as unforgettable and said that the status of the deceased was like that of a person in the family.
Despite his old age, the sincerity and selflessness shown by Magga Chacha towards every member of our family is unforgettable for all of us, he said.
Meanwhile, members of Awami Action committee, Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid Srinagar, Anjuman Nusratul Islam, Darul Khair and members of Jamia Traders and people from other walks of life paid tribute to the deceased for his humanitarianism.
On the occasion, Fateha prayers were offered in favour of Magga Chacha and condolences were expressed to the bereaved family members. The participants also prayed to Allah (SWT) to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul.(KNS).
