Tractor driver injured after tractor turns turtle in Mawer

Handwara, Oct 07 (KNS): A 23-old-year driver was injured after a tractor turned turtle at Lawoosa Village of Mawer Handwara in North Kashmir’s Handwara on Thursday.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said a tractor turned turtle this evening in the Mawer area resulting in injuries to the driver.

The injured driver has been identified as Muneer Rasool Son of Ghulam  Rasool, they said soon after the incident he was shifted to Handwara hospital for treatment.

The locals said due to a weak embankment on the road the tractor turned turtle, adding that the department of R&B was informed regularly but they paid no heed towards the incident.

They also said if the DPR was taken twice but the work was never held.

They further said if the wall on the road was not made early, sometimes there will a huge tragedy.

Meanwhile, police in this regard have taken cognizance. (KNS)
