Srinagar, Oct 27 (KNS): In the ongoing Khyber Milk Premier Football League 2021 three matches of Premier Division were played today the 27th of Oct 2021 at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar. The Tournament is being telecast live for the first time by Frisk Film Production on ANN News Channel.
Real Kashmir (R) played 2:2 goal draw against J&K Police XI
Ist match was played between Real Kashmir (R) and J&K Police XI. As the play started the RKFC made a move to breach the defence lines of Police XI and Mujtaba put his team ahead in the 15th minute of the match by scoring a goal. The lead gave a huge boost to the RKFC players and they kept attacking the opposite goal post frequently and they succeeded to consolidate their lead in 32nd minute through Samuel. J&K Police players were desperate to score and they launched several attacks on the opposite goalpost. Nainjot of Police managed to score a goal in the 36th minute of the play and it opened up the match. Ist half ended with 2:1 in favour of RKFC. In the 2nd Half J&K Police utilizing their energy and tried hard to equalize in the 55th minute J&K Police succeeded to level the score through Hanin Fayaz. Both the teams tried to dominate but could not find the net till the final whistle. Thus the match ended with 2:2 Goal draw.
The 2nd Match was played 0:0 Goal draw between J&K Bank Academy & Alijana FC.As the match started, forwards of both the teams started attacking other’s goalpost to seize an early initiative. However, the defence lines of both the teams kept the forwards at bay. The forwards of the two teams looked off colour as they missed several scoring opportunities. The goalkeepers of both the teams made some excellent saves and thus the first half ended goalless. As the second half began, both the teams were desperate to score and they launched several attacks on each others’ opposite goalpost from both the flanks. But like the first half, the defenders of the two teams were upto the task in the second half as well. When the referee blew the final whistle the score line read 0-0 and it was a fair result considering the scoring opportunities missed by the two teams.
The 3rd Match was played between Downtown Hero’s FC and Kashmir Maharaja FC.
Downtown Hero’s FC defeated K.Maharaja Fc by 2:0 goals
Amid huge cheers by the fans the players of the two teams started to battle it out in the middle. The Downtown Hero’s FC players were more aggressive in their approach and they made some early moves to beat the defence lines of the K.Maharaja FC.
However, the goalkeeper and other defenders of K.Maharaja FC were equal to the task and they kept the Downtown Hero’s forwards at bay. The first half ended 0:0.
After the breather Downtown Hero's FC came into action and virtually dominated the field which resulted, they found the net in 44th minute through Ubaid. Downtown Hero’s not only determined to maintain the lead, but occasionally they counter-attacked and in the 60th minute of the play, they were successful in their attempt as Faisal scored the second goal. It dampened the spirits of Maharaja players and for the rest of the play no further goals were scored. When the referee blew the final whistle, the score line read 2-0 in favour of the Downtown Hero’s FC.
In the ongoing A-Division Annual League football Tournament 2021 Two matches of 2nd Round were played at Gindun Ground Rajbagh Srinagar. Ist match was played between Yahya Warse Fc & Real Cosmos which was won by Yahya Warse Fc by 3:0 goals. The 2nd match was played between Haroon FC & Alamdar Fc. Haroon Fc won the match by 2:0 goals.
