Srinagar, Oct 12 (KNS): Three militants of LeT outfit were killed in an encounter that broke out in Tulran locality of Imamsahab in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, police said here on Tuesday.

A police official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the encounter broke out between security forces and militants in the area last evening.

He said that in the ensuing encounter three militants of LeT outfit were killed and arms and ammunition were also recovered.

The official also said that one of the slain militants was imvolved in the killing of a non-local street hawker, Virendra Paswan and has been identified as Mukhtar Shah of Ganderbal. (KNS)
