Srinagar, Mar 24 (KNS): Thousands of Muslim devotees thronged Mosques and Shrines across Kashmir who offered prayers on eve of first Friday of the holy month of Ramadhan.
Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said hat thousands of devotees thronged Jama Masjid Srinagar for Friday prayers.
Srinagar police said the prayers concluded peacefully in all mosques across Srinagar.
"Friday afternoon Prayers on first Friday of the holy month of Ramzan concluded peacefully in all the mosques of Srinagar. At Jamia Masjid Nowhatta and Dargah Hazratbal around 18,000 & 50,000 devotees attended Friday prayers respectively," Police tweeted. (KNS)
