Srinagar, Mar 13 (KNS ) ; A massive rally was held in Hassanabad on Friday to mark International Quds Day, with tens of thousands of protesters marching against Israel's actions in Gaza and what they termed as global oppression of Muslims.
Addressing the gathering, religious leader Aga Syed Mujtaba Mosavi accused Israel of committing atrocities against Palestinians and alleged that Western powers, particularly the United States, were complicit in supporting the "Zionist regime." He called upon the Muslim community worldwide to unite against the "oppression" faced by Palestinians.
The protesters carried banners and placards condemning Israel's military offensive in Gaza and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian cause.

Aga Mujtaba also drew comparisons with the situation in Kashmir, expressing concern over restrictions at Jamia Masjid in Srinagar. He urged the Muslim community to raise their voice against any attempts to curb religious freedoms, whether in Palestine or Kashmir.
The Quds Day rally in Hassanabad passed off peacefully without any untoward incident, with security arrangements in place to maintain order. (KNS)
