Jammu, Dec 12 (KNS): Director General of Police (DGP), Dilbagh Singh on Monday said those issuing threats through blogs are mouthpieces of Pakistan and its spy ISI who want to keep militancy alive in J&K.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a function held in Jammu, the DGP Dilbagh Singh said “I have already clarified that those issuing threats to people are mouthpieces of Pakistan and it’s spy agency ISI. They want to keep militancy alive in J&K by these tactics”.
He said those who issued threats and are involved in any way in the crime are being taken to task sternly. “The security agencies are monitoring these blogs keenly. Those involved in issuing threats to innocent people are being dealt sternly”, the DGP as per KNS said.
“Those support threats and making it glamour will also be brought to justice”, the DGP Dilbagh Singh said.
He said it is a conspiracy to derail the peace process in J&K and people should not go worried on it. “Pakistan and ISI seems very unhappy with the peace of Kashmir. They don’t want people by happy. Thus they try to inflict fear in the hearts and minds of people either issuing threats or carrying out violence”, he said.
He also said that not only those involved in issuing threats but those organization or groups who are support such anti-national activities in the soil of J&K will be contained soon.
To a query, the DGP replied that security forces are alert to foil any nefarious design of neighboring country both at Line of Control and hinterland.
“Elements sitting in other side of LoC are trying to trigger infiltration to this side however security forces are alert to foil their mischief”, he said.
“Though few attempts of infiltration have been successful but major attempts have been made failure by our security agencies due to their alertness”, the DGP continued. (KNS)
