Srinagar May 23 (KNS): Former minister and senior vice president Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference Abdul Gani Vakil today condemned the ruling dispensation's move by terminating services of employees. In a statement issued here, Vakil said by terminating services of Rehbar e Khel, Janglat, Zirat, NYCs and referring these posts to SSRB afresh is a malicious move to destroy careers of these youngsters.
He said such arbitrary decisions are going to only distance youth from mainstream. Vakil appealed the LG to immediately rollback this order which he termed as "absurd."
The former minister said that by such tactics the present government is delegitimising the previous elected governments. "The elected government is the only alternative to the LG rule. The present regime which has been enforced in Kashmiris post the controversial abrogation of Article 370 is indulging in acts which are beyond its mandate. The BJP led government has been testing the patience of people of Jammu and Kashmir especially the youth of J&K and it will have serious repercussions," Vakil said.(KNS)
