Baramulla Sep 19 (KNS): Tehsil Karhama Baramulla of north Kashmir officials on Saturday destroyed bung cultivation spread over road sides in villages in Karhama tehsil area

Acting tough against the drug menace, a tehsil team under the supervision of OQ and other officials of Karhama tehsil destroyed bung cultivation over good no of bung in surrounding Village of karhama

The entire drive was led by tehsil officer with the his powerfull team of revenue department
Tehsildar Karhama warn to people of area to destroy the bung surrounding area other stern action will be taken against those where they will be found any bung cultivation or involve in drugs .

He appealed to general public espacially youth to cooperate so that the drug addiction will be controlled

Meanwhile, locals of the area have hailed the action and thanked tehsil officials for its endeavour towards drug free society added that this is the first drive against drug and bung in the subdivision of tangmarag Baramulla of north Kashmir.(KNS)
