Handwara, Oct 21 (KNS): A 17-year old boy on Friday ended his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his home in Malbag village of Handwara in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the teenager (name withheld) consumed some poisonous substance and soon after the incident he was rushed to SDH Sopore.

He said that he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. 

Meanwhile, SHO Kralgund confirmed to KNS that the teen committed suicide at his home and the Police have registered a case.

He said that further investigation has been taken up in this regard. (KNS)
