Srinagar, Oct 25 (KNS): Former Member of Parliament and member Congress Working Committee, Tariq Hameed Karra Tuesday expressed grief over the demise of founder and chairman of Ittihadul Musilmeen, Mohammad Abbas Ansari.
Abbas Ansari who was not keeping well since long and over the couple of days his health condition was deteriorated more and subsequently he breathed his last at his residence today morning.
"My profound grief on passing away of Maulana Abbas Ansari Sb. I knew him personally as a down to earth, humble and a thorough Gentleman. A religious scholar of highest order who tirelessly worked all his life for inter sectoral unity," he said
"My heartfelt condolences go to Maulana Masroor Ansari Sahib,his entire family and all the loved ones and ardent followers of Maulana Abbas Sahib Marhoom. May Allah Subhanwataala grant Abbas Sahib Jannat ul Firdaus and strength to his family, friends & followers to bear the losss'" he added. (KNS)
