Apni Party leader urges authorities to ensure there is no power curtailment beyond the announced schedule


 
Srinagar January 15 (KNS): Apni Party Senior Vice President and former Cabinet minister Ghulam Hassan Mir had an interactive meeting with the traders in Tangmarg to exchange thoughts over a range of topics, including the present scenario of tourism and trade in the area.

 According to a press note, a large group of local traders called on Ghulam Hassan Mir and had productive discussions with the Apni Party leader. In the meeting, traders shared their ideas and thoughts in order to enhance the business activities and to promote tourism further in Tangmarg and adjoining areas.

“The meeting was productive in terms of the exchange of useful ideas for the betterment of the local business community, and it was decided that some imperative initiative would be taken to boost the trade and tourism in the area. Ghulam Hassan Mir shared his views and ideas about the possibility of furthering business activities, launching new projects, and ensuring better services to the local residents and tourists in the area,” the press note said.

“The meeting ended with a hope to move forward with a vision of positivity,” the press note added.

Meanwhile, Ghulam Hassan Mir has urged the authorities to ensure there is no power curtailment beyond the announced schedule in Tangmarg. He said, “The local residents have informed me about the frequent power outages in Tangmarg and adjoining areas. The power department must ensure its own announced power curtailment schedule is strictly followed and there are no power cuts beyond the announced schedule.”

 “Since Tangmarg is a tourist place and there are many more tourist places in its adjoining areas, authorities must ensure all the basic facilities including a proper power supply to the people here.” He added.(KNS)
