Srinagar, Mar 9 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has strongly condemned the horrific and senseless killing of an eight-year-old minor boy of Awoora area of Kupwara.

 

The AAC, in a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), on behalf of its leadership especially its incarcerated chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq while expressing heartfelt condolence and solidarity with the bereaved said the occurrence of such shameful and inhuman incidents on the land of saints and religious leaders like Kashmir is not only extremely painful but also a tragedy that embarrasses the entire Kashmiri society.

 

The statement reads that although according to the media, the brutal assassination of innocent Talib Hussain is being termed as personal enmity and resentment between the two families, it is a moment of reflection and eye-opening tragedy for the entire valley as to how far the society as a whole has reached today.

 

AAC demanded that those responsible for the murder of Talib be brought to justice and given exemplary punishment. (KNS)
