Tableau showcases 'changing face of J&K' during Republic Day Parade in Delhi

Srinagar, Jan 26 (KNS): The Tableau of Jammu and Kashmir, displayed at the Rajpath in New Delhi during Republic Day parade on Wednesday, showcased the "changing face" of the Union Territory. 

According to details available with Kashmir news Service (KNS), the front portion of the tableau depicted Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan located at Katra in Jammu division, while rare portion depicted IIT, IIM, AIIMS and International Airport, which are being established in the UT. 

The tableau also depicted the under constructed world highest rail bridge, Chenab rail bridge, while the theme of the tableau was "changing face of Jammu and Kashmir" in the backdrop of a development scenario. 

Notably, a total of 21 tableaux, 12 of various states and Union Territories, nine of ministries were showcased at the Republic Day Parade on Wednesday at the majestic Rajpath in Delhi. (KNS)
