Swift Response of Kupwara Police Thwarts Burglary Spree, Culprits Nabbed in Record Time

 Srinagar, Mar 22 (KNS): The Kupwara Police Department on Friday apprehended a group of burglars within just 12 hours of their attempted heist. 

 
 
The early morning calm of March 22, 2024, was disrupted when a band of thieves struck Iqbal Market, targeting five shops and leaving behind a scene of chaos and broken locks.
 
 
The swift action by the police, led by DO Bazar Azhar Shakeel and the Station House Officer of Kupwara, was a direct response to the distress calls from the local shop owners. Despite the cover of night, the police force's vigilance and dedication ensured that the burglars' plans were largely unsuccessful. While a small amount of 5000 INR was stolen from one shop, the prompt intervention prevented further losses.
 
 
The successful operation was a result of the relentless pursuit of leads by the Kupwara Police, who worked tirelessly to track down the perpetrators. Their efforts culminated in the rapid apprehension of the culprits.
