KUPWARA, 18 MAY (KNS)To ensure strict implementation of Corona Curfew and adhering of guidelines issued by Govt in view of Covid-19 Pandemic, today SSP Kupwara Dr G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS along with Deputy Commissioner Kupwara imam Din Conducted market Checking of Town Kupwara & its adjacent areas and checked nakas deployed at different locations of the District.

 

During checking SSP ordered the men deployed for Corona curfew not to allow unnecessary movement of vehicles and pedestrians in the area. He further stressed upon the subordinate officers to activate their men to avoid any untoward incident.

 

Deputy Commissioner Kupwara appreciated the role of Kupwara Police during Covid-19 and said that kupwara Police is playing an important role to save the lives of people of the District during the Pandemic. He further extorted upon Officers and Jawans to keep their good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing their duties.

 

SSP Kupwara Dr G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS* thanked the People of Kupwara for adhering to Lockdown orders and following guidelines/SOPs issued from time to time to restrain the further spread of the virus.

 

SSP Kupwara once again appeals to the general public to follow *Covid-19* guidelines/SOPs so that the Pandemic can be Controlled.(KNS)
