SSP Baramulla chairs PCPG meeting at Palhalan

Baramulla, Dec 25 (KNS): As part of public outreach programme, a police public meeting was held at Police Post Palhallan by Police Baramulla on Saturday.

According to a statement, SSP Baramulla Rayees Mohammad Bhat among other police officers attended the meeting with public representatives and prominent persons of Palhallan general area. 

“The meeting was also attended by SDPO Pattan Mohammad Nawaz, SHO PS Pattan Inspector Nisar Ahmad, DO Palhallan SI Ather Parvaiz and staff of sub division Pattan. Public from all corners of Palhallan including members of PRIs, Auqaf committees, numberdars, chowkidars, traders federations and various market associations attended the public meeting.”

The statement reads that SSP Baramulla listened to the grievances patiently and thereafter assured them that their genuine grievances will be resolved on priority and every possible help will be provided to the people of the area.

“The participants were requested to cooperate with police and administration in maintaining law and order, drug menace in the area and in identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.” (KNS)
