Bandipora,14 May (KNS): SSP Bandipora Mohmamaf Zahid JKPs accompanied by DYSP HQRS  Bandipora Mohammad Idrees and other officers today visited various places/markets of Bandipora to implement lockdown & also took the first-hand appraisal of the following COVID-19 SOPs/guidelines.

 

He also reviewed law & order, security forces deployment arrangements. During the visit, SSP interacted with the JK police personnel and personnel of other security forces deployed in markets & Naka points. He appreciated the efforts of JK police and other security forces for ensuring complete/incident free COVID-19 lockdown in the district especially on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. 

 

He directed the officers that Doctors, paramedical staff and other essential services providers should not face any inconvenience during the course of their travel to places of work &  also directed the men on the ground to ensure a people-friendly atmosphere, while maintaining peace and order and to ensure that health protocols are being followed by everyone as per the government guidelines, besides impressed upon coordination with other security forces on the ground for achieving desired outputs.

 

During the visit, SSP Bandipora impressed upon the people to exhibit compliance to the government directions for larger public safety and health and also sought their cooperation.He also appealed to traders/transporters to strictly follow government orders and Covid-19 SOPs, so that the infection rate may be significantly reduced.(KNS)
