Srinagar February 10:(KNS) Police Station Khanyar solved the case of burglary in which burglars on 03 February 2022 had stolen  golden ornaments and cash from a house located in Khilafa Pora Khanyar.

In this regard Case FIR No 03/2022 U/S 454/380 IPC was registered in Police Station Khnayar and investigation was started. 

During the investigation two suspects, Umer Gulzar Wadoo of Babapora Habakadal and Shakil Ahmad Shah of Kailashpora were questioned, who confessed to the commission of crime. They were arrested and  stolen property including 01 Golden coin (Pound), 2 golden chains (01 big and one small , 02 Pendents, a pair of tops, a pair of ear rings, a pair of rings and 02 Bangles were recovered on the instance of accused. The total value of the recovered jewellery amounts to Rs 3 lacs approximately.(KNS)
