Inaugurates Integrated Command & Control Centre, Drainage Scheme at Shalteng

Srinagar, June 23 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that Srinagar is embracing modern technical tools for sustainable and integrated urban living. 

 
Office of J&K LG on its official Twitter handle informed that LG inaugurated two prestigious projects, which include Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC) under Srinagar Smart City initiative and Drainage Scheme at Shalteng. 
 
LG said that ICCC will act as a situation room of city integrating civic operations and creating opportunity for data-driven decision making.
 
He added that Srinagar Smart City aims to secure & increase liveability, sustainability, efficiency for all citizens. “The holistic approach in functioning of Srinagar Smart City will help in achieving five long-term goals-smart mobility, smart economy, smart environment, smart living & smart governance.”
 
LG said that ground-breaking technological interventions are bringing efficiency in urban governance & strengthening the response capability of various stakeholders. “Srinagar is embracing modern technical tools for sustainable & integrated urban living.”
 
He added that all stakeholders are working in tandem to make the Srinagar city a best example in the smart city movement in the country. “With a wide range of smart solutions and infrastructure, we hope to enhance resource efficiency & seamless citizen services.” (KNS)
