Srinagar, July, 03 (KNS): Srinagar District Congress Committee working President Mir Ruvais presided over a worker's meeting in Nishat area of Srinagar. and expressed deep concern over the negligence of Roads and building department & PDD for not addressing the burning issues people are facing in Nishat area and elsewhere in Srinagar due to lack of macadamization of the Asthanpora brein roads falling under Nishat area and delay in erection of cement poles in the area of Krali Mohalla Brein.
.It seems that administration is not ready to listen sufferings faced by the residents administrative machinery which seems which is not a positive approach towards society. Now the responsibility of highlighting the plight of people lies with representatives of Congress Party.
Mir Ruvais urged the authorities to take a sympathetic view towards the problems faced by the residents of Nishat Brein . Sufferings of people cannot be ignored. The authorities need to ensure that the citizens are not deprived of basic needs and requirements. The difficulties being faced by them must be addressed by the administration on priority basis, he added.(KNS)
