Sopore Police reunite missing Budgam man with family, Locals hail SHO for his strenuous effort

Sopore, Feb 24 :(KNS) Police here in North Kashmir's Sopore town Thursday reunite missing elderly man from Budgam with his family nearly after two months with local populace thanking Station House Officer (SHO) Tarzoo for his strenuous effort. 
 
According to the reports, an elderly man who identified himself as Abdul Salaam Mir, a resident of Goeigam Magam in Budgam district was wandering here and there from last couple of months while local auqaf committee of Tarzoo approached to the concerned SHO yesterday. 
 
Taking cognizance, Station House Officer (SHO), Tarzoo Bilal Khanday put his efforts, traced the whereabouts and concerned Police station in Budgam and family were informed. 
 
After following due course of law the missing person was reunited with his family within 15 hours who hailed the role of Sopore Police. 
 
Meanwhile, the swift action of Sopore Police especially the Station House Officer (SHO) Tarzoo is being largely appreciated by the people. 
 
Notably, a local auqaf committee had shared a post about this elderly man on social media platforms and informed the local police yesterday after which the said person was reunited with the family within 15 hours. (KNS)
