Sopore, July 27 (KNS) : Sopore police on Monday claimed to have recovered illicit timber in Panzala area of Rafiabad.
A police statement issued to KNS reads, on a specific information a Police team of Police Station Panzla headed by SHO Police Station Panzla Insp. Mudasir Shafi raided the house of Lateef Ahmad Khan resident of Ladiangan Rafiabad and recovered an illicit timber which were seized and accused also arrested on spot.

In this regard, Case FIR No. 79/2020, U/S 379 IPC 26 Indian Forest Act has been registered in Police Station Panzla and investigation set into motion. (KNS)
