Sopore, Feb 24 (KNS): In order to ensure smooth reopening of schools, the administration in Sopore town held a meeting on Thursday to review traffic scenario and other issues. 

 

An official said that the review meeting was chaired by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Parveez Sajad Ganaie which was attended by the officials from the Police, Muncipal Council, Transport and Education departments. 

 

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore directed all the concerned to ensure that no traffic jam should happen during morning and evening hours. “Besides, no selling of Tobacco products and vending should take place outside the school premises.”

 

ADC also directed the school authorities to ensure no usage of mobile phones by the students in school premises. “Any violation in this regard shall invite cancellation of admission of the said student.”

 

He advised school authorities to ensure transport facility to students and hire only commercial vehicles with genuine permit for commutation of students. (KNS)
