Srinagar October 12 (KNS): The J&K Hoteliers Club held a meeting at Sonmarg. The meeting was held under the President Mr. Farooq Ahmad Hafiz and Secretary General  Mr. Tariq Ghani in which Sonmarg hoteliers and members from Byopar Mandal were present.

 In the meeting a special winter package was announced by the Sonmarg President Mr. Farooq Hafiz to promote winter tourism at Sonmarg. All the hoteliers of Sonmarg were requested to keep their hotels open during winter season.

The Secretary General Tariq Ghani said that Sonmarg will be promoted as four season’s destination especially in winter season. The President announced 20% discount for all hotels at Sonmarg from 15th Nov upto 1st March 2023 as a special package. The President Mr. Farooq Hafiz requested authorities especially the Chief Secretary Mr. Arun Kumar Mehta, Divisional Commisioner Kashmir Mr. P.K.Pole, DC Ganderbal...., Director Tourism, to provide all facilities for the winter season so that hoteliers can run their properties smoothly.

 The Secretary General Mr. Tariq Ghani requested Divisional Administration to provide water, electricity, road clearance, 24*7 in winters. He also requested authorities to macdamize approach roads to hotels before 15th October 2022. The members agreed to the decision of special discount package to welcome winter tourism in J&K.(KNS)
