Srinagar, Nov 04 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday said that government will provide a job to the wife of slain Kashmir Pandit who was killed by militants in Shopian district.
The slain Kashmir pandit Puran Krishan Bhat was gunned down by militants on 15 October outside his ancestral house in the Chowdhary Gund area of south Kashmir’s Shopian, where he had gone to look after his orchards.
The LG said that wife of Puran Krishan Bhat will be given a permanent government job. “Met the family members of martyr Shri Puran Krishan Bhat Ji at their residence in Jammu and offered my condolences. Administration to provide a permanent Govt job to his wife and every possible help to the family,” Office of LG J&K said in a tweet.(KNS)
