Srinagar, Nov 27 (KNS): PDP Youth President Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra on Sunday appealed youth to shun the path of gun and fight legally, constitutionally and politically for their rights.
He was speaking at SK Park Srinagar where youth convention of the party was held. "I urge youth to shun the path of gun and fight for their rights politically, constitutionally and legally", he said.
He said youth of J&K being killed in the name of national security. "Our youth is being tortured and killed in the name of national security. I urge my youth to avoid the path of gun that justifies your killings", he said.
He said PDP is not a political party but a "process" to engage youth in a dignified way and provide them viable atmosphere to live in. (KNS)
