Srinagar, June 14 (KNS): Noted journalist and founding editor of Rising Kashmir was on Tuesday remembered and glowing tributes were paid to him on his 4th death anniversary.
According to details available with Kashmir News Service (KNS), many social, religious, political and civil society organisations today paid tributes to Shujaat Bukhari on his 4th death anniversary.
Recalling his contributions toward journalism in Kashmir and to the society as a whole, they said that Bukhari was a torch-bearer and a noble soul as well.
“His departure on this day left a void, which is hard to fill. He was an epitome of courage and selflessness. He was a great journalist who was silenced for speaking the truth,” they said.
Meanwhile, People’s Conference chairman Sajad Lone and JKSCF president Abdul Qayoom Wani also remembered Shujaat Bukhari on his 4th death anniversary.
They also prayer for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, KNS also remembered the noted journalist and paid glowing tributes to him on 4th death anniversary.
Editor-in-chief KNS, Mohammad Aslam Bhat recalled Bukhari’s contribution towards journalism in Kashmir and also prayed for peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
