Sheeri residents up in arms against district admin Baramulla for failing to maintain drainage system

Baramulla, Aug 26 (KNS): The residents of Sheeri mostly shopkeepers of the main market in North Kashmir's Baramulla district are up in arms against the district administration for failing to maintain drainage system in the area. 

General Secretary of Sheeri shopkeeper's welfare union, Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the concerned authorities have failed to maintain drainage system in the area as a drain passing through the market is blocked for the last several years. 

He said that they approached the officials of district administration, but they have failed to take any concrete steps and help resolve their genuine grievance. 

Meanwhile, locals appealed to the officials of district administration to look into the matter and help resolve this problem at an earliest. (KNS)
