Karnah,Sep 29 (KNS) Shamasbari Volleyball Championship concluded here in Karnah, with Kupwara Volleyball team winning the title.
The advisor to Lt. Governor Farooq Khan who was also Chief Guest on the occasion distributed prizes among the winners.
The tournament was played on a double knockout basis. In the nail biting finish Kupwara won the title by defeating Karnah by 2-1. Yawar was declared Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
16 teams from all over the valley participated in the said championship in all age categories the tournament was organized by Raja Sonu Khan a ReK teacher in Nachain village of Karnah north Kashmir's Kupwara district.Among others, Brigade Commander 104 Bragade Parimveer sing, SDM Karnah Dr. Bilal Mohi Ud Din, Former MLA's Karnah Raja Manzoor, Kafeel ur Rehman, and district and tehsil level officers of Youth services and sporta were present on the occasion.(KNS)
